Broat! is a Pearson 26 from the year 1975. Like most old boats it has it’s quirks and issues and has suffered through unlucky happenstance more than what seems an appropriate amount. Components seemingly vital to it’s reliable operation have been, in some instances, replaced with duct tape and/or other ill suited replacement parts from Home Depot. Credit and curses to the previous owners and myself where applicable.
It has a Mercury 9.9 outboard motor from the year 2007 on the transom. Broat! is registered in PA and it’s berth is currently in Croydon, PA at Neshaminy State Marina on the Delaware River.
It has previously been berthed at Philadelphia Marine Center (sadly, shut down after the real estate people bought it) and Anchorage Marina in Essington PA (sadly, a dump).
